PS: In some cases, the third page shows up only after I update the book. I'm new to FM, so please assume user ignorance...

The first document should have two pages but insists on having three. When I delete the third page, save the file, and then open it again, the third page is back. This messes up my page numbering for the rest of the preface. I've tried deleting the page from the Special menu, but it doesn't stay. I have tried various settings in Format > Page Layout > Pagination, but when I open it again the Before Saving & Printing setting reverts to "Make Page Count Odd."
