Sounds similar to some of the problems I am experiencing. I open my book, work for a while, and as soon as I try to use the graphic tool, FrameMaker crashes. (FM 9 on Windows 7 on 64-bit machine.) I have no solution, so I have gone back to FM 8 on a 64-bit.

FM 9 crashes when I try to save .book file with changes on Windows 7 64-bit (John Sgammato) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Mon, 23 Aug 2010 11:58:08 -0400 From: "John Sgammato" <[email protected]> To: <framers at lists.frameusers.com> Subject: FM 9 crashes when I try to save .book file with changes on Windows 7 64-bit Message-ID: <8E0B2788ADE5A14195D29CF5C43E81A36A8900 at mamail01.IMPRIVATA.COM> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I recently got a new Win7 64-bit computer. I installed FM9 new on it and applied all updates. When I open a FM9 book and chapters created on my old 32-bit machine I can work on it as usual, but when I save the book, FM crashes. I have reproduced it to the point where simply opening the book file and Saving As... causes the crash, even when no changes have been made. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something simple? Does anyone have a good insight that will help me track this down?
