Jim, If you hold all rows of a table together (by setting Table > Table Format: Keep with Next (for all rows selected), then you get an empty space before the table. You can eliminate this space only by setting in Table Designer > Basic > Start : Float. With the Float attritbute on text after the table will flow between table anchor and table.
