It's hard to know if you should grab an update because you didn't
specify your patch level.... Help > About.
The Acrobat updates page may be something for you to look at.

Because you're running XP, be sure to install the Microsoft Hotfix for
PS printers, including Acrobat:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=952909 -- it applies to all PS
printers, including the logical PDF.
