Hi,
I've inherited some translated files, FM7.2 MIF translated into Russian (using Trados). Opening these MIF files in FM9 results in gabberish text, applying the Arial CYR font has no effect. Opening in FM7.2 and applying the Arial CYR font makes the text readable. When saved as FM (in FM7.2) the files then open OK in FM9. So far all is ok, although I don't understand precisely why FM9 can not set correct character encoding directly on the MIF files. But, all marker text is still not readable, even not when applying Russian fonts. Anyone knows how to convert those to the correct character encodings?
