You may want to start with updating your FM install to the final patch
version -- p116, from
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=22&platform=Windows

Also, you don't mention if you've installed the Microsoft Hotfix for
all Postscript printers under XP -- which fixes lots of distiller
problems.
