FrameMaker cannot render a screen view from an EPS graphic unless the EPS file contains a TIFF preview image, which is optional and typically not included by default by most apps that can create EPS files. And even when the EPS file *does* contain a TIFF preview, that preview image is very low-res and is only useful for identification and placement purposes. If you need to have a readable screen image for the graphic, you should convert the EPS to PDF and import that into FrameMaker.
