Could you give more details on your environment? Could you give some details on how much RAM, how much free space; are the FM files and graphics local or on a server, etc.... and what exactly do you mean by "simple tasks"?
Are the files and books you're working with FM 10 files, or legacy files that you rolled forward from earlier releases? If they did come from earlier releases, did you MIF-wash the files in 10?
