You said you're on Win 7, so you don't need the postscript patch; it appears to apply only to Vista and earlier. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952909 http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=952909&kbln=en-us In XP, to learn what patches have been applied, you open Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs; select the Show Updates checkbox, go for coffee, come back and examine the list to find the KB number associated with the patch. The list of OS patches is not searchable AFAIK, but it is in order -- random order -- in typically helpful Microsoft manner. I would expect Win 7 to have a similarly cumbersome way to find out what's been done to it... best, -- Stuart Rogers Technical Communicator Phoenix Geophysics Limited 3781 Victoria Park Avenue, Unit 3 Toronto, ON, Canada M1W 3K5 +1 (416) 491-7340 x 325 http://www.phoenix-geophysics.com
