In the Preferences section of your maker.ini file, make sure you have this line: UseSystemCursor=On Then you can set one of the large Windows cursor schemes and FrameMaker will use it. Oddly, it works for the mouse cursor, but not for the insertion point cursor. In Windows, it's possible to modify that cursor so it's wider I've done it on my system, although for the life of me I can't remember how it's done, but googling produced several hits, including this one: http://bucarotechelp.com/computers/wintips/92062104.asp Word picks up the setting just fine but not all other applications respect it. For example, FrameMaker ignores it as well as Lotus Notes, which I'm using to write this. Personally, I'd rate that as a bug and maybe you should raise the issue with Adobe.
