Hi Nina,
This is the marker that I use for this purpose (works in frame 6 and 9): openpage folder location/filename.fm:1 the .fm gets converted to .pdf when you convert from frame to pdf the :1 means it opens at page 1 Hope that helps, Jo Watkiss From: framers-boun...@lists.frameusers.com [mailto:framers-bounces at lists.frameusers.com] On Behalf Of Nina Rogers Sent: 30 March 2011 16:02 To: framers at lists.frameusers.com Subject: Creating hyperlink to PDF I am trying to create a hyperlink to a PDF. Basically, when the user clicks the link, I want a separate PDF file to open. I'm working in FrameMaker 7, but the finished document will be published as a PDF. I am using Scriptorium's FrameMaker 7 guide, which I consider my FM bible and has always been very helpful. I can only assume that I'm being especially dense this morning because I'm not understanding how to create this link. It seems like I've done this before, and it wasn't that difficult ... but it's been a while. (And my memory is fuzzy.) The PDF I want to link is located in a folder on our network, not on a website; otherwise, I'd use the Go to URL command from Special > Hypertext. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
