Hi, everyone. Thanks for all the great answers. I ultimately found that Esc hyphen h does work -- I think I didn't save the change correctly.
However, I also really like the suggestion to turn off hyphens altogether in the Index. That would take care of all hyphenated index entries at once, too. --Nancy
