I have Frame 7.2 running on a new Windows 7 desktop system and haven't run into any problems, so far. No special steps to install.

No, I haven't installed Virtual PC. Maybe I'll try that at some point. Have you used it? If so, how does the performance hit compare to that from compatibility mode?
