When I update a book, I receive 2 unresolved cross-reference errors. This file contains 3 insets. I search for unresolved cross-references in the main file and in the insets, FM finds none.
In the main file I use Edit > Update References, update the book and I can still get the errors. I have tried Special > List of > References, including External Cross-Refs, Unresolved Cross-Refs, Unresolved Text Insets and the resulting file is empty. I have checked that the cross-reference formats in the main file and the insets are the same. One strange thing I've noticed is that I tried showing all conditions and did a search for unresolved cross-references, FM found none. I revert to my set conditions. When I then update the book, no errors?? I'm confused. How would toggling conditions affect this? Another strange thing is when I view the main file, sometimes 2 cross-references within an inset just disappear. The cross-references show up in the inset (point to figures in the same inset). In the main file, if I use Edit > Update References, they reappear. I think these may be my problematic references but I don't know how to fix them. I've tried redoing the cross-references, no change in behavior. Toggling the conditions has worked at least this time, but I'd like to understand what is going on. I tried searching but could not find a solution. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
