Job Posting - Technical Publications Specialist (Tucson, AZ) Become part of the CARF team involved with accreditation of quality programs nationally. As a Technical Publications Specialist, you will play a vital role in the organization as an information developer and be responsible for the design, production, and delivery of publications in various formats through structured authoring. Essential duties include: creation and maintenance of templates, DTDs, EDDs, and scripts to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation deliverables; troubleshooting production issues; and developing innovative, reusable tools to support the production process. This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, technical communication, or information design or equivalent combination of education and job experience. Candidates must be proficient in Javascript, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, CSS, and at least one markup language. Experience with structured FrameMaker a plus.
