Hi Karen, ? I agree with Rick that FM9 is buggy, but I don't think the problem you describe is caused by FM. This may sound strange, but your graphics card drivers?can be the cause of the problem. I suggest you?open the Event Viewer and?check if there aren't any related system error messages. ? Kind regards, Roman?

Still having issues with FrameMaker 9 (all patches) becoming unresponsive; Panel actions don?t work or panels don?t show up at all, with only FrameMaker ( 2 or 3 section of a book open) open. I noticed when that happens, if I have the Paragraph Panel open, that a small white strip shows up in the left side, top of the Panel. FM Won?t stay open longer than about 5 or 10 min if I am creating or changing tabs, even if I am not using the ruler to change the tabs. I close and reopen FM and sometimes it works and sometimes I have to once again reboot. Also have the IE Explorer stopping and starting?? ? are the two related in any way? ? I am using Windows 7 Pro (all patches), Microsoft Office 2010 on a Dell T5500 64 bit quad with 12 G of RAM and I have 800 G available on drive. NVIDIA Quadro 2000 card with 1 G Graphics Memory, display adapter drive is up to date 8.17.12.5929 and a Samsung LED 23 in Monitor SyncMaster. ? Is FM 9 this buggy or is there a setting that is causing this issue, ANYONE have insight? ? Thank you in advance for your time. ? Karen Mann kmann at i-t-tech.com 262-251-9702 Ext. 111 ?
