As I suspected, the setting is stored in the maker.ini file in the program files folder (not the maker.ini files created elsewhere for individual users). It would appear that FM is not reliably writing changes to that file. These three lines appear in it: ;Auto Spell Check EnableAutoSpellCheck=On AutoSpellCheckCorrectionListSize=5 If the problem recurs, you might save some time by editing that file directly before relaunching FM. It would probably be a good idea for you to report the bug: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=63 Best regards, -- Stuart Rogers Technical Communicator Phoenix Geophysics Limited 3781 Victoria Park Avenue, Unit 3 Toronto, ON, Canada M1W 3K5 +1 (416) 491-7340 x 325 http://www.phoenix-geophysics.com
