Control-click the text frame to select it, and then right-click and select Object Properties. In the dialog box, on the right under Flow, Autoconnect is probably not selected. This is the setting that tells FM to create new pages in that flow as needed to hold the contents of the flow. Instead of just turning it on, however, you should probably try to find out why it's off in a template that you've been using for quite some time. Check the Autoconnect setting on the master pages. On the body page with the problem, make sure the right master page is being used and that you're not actually putting the text into a "rogue" text frame sitting on top of the text frame from the master page (it happens).
