One workaround would be to enable 'smart spaces', then the issueof double
spaces won't happen.Dave

encounters a double space and asks if you want this double space
replaced with a single space, it eats the final letter off the previous
word! In my instance, "raceme[space][space][m-dash]" was made into
"racem[space][m-dash]".
