I beat the process to hell and it seems to be stable. I use the "Go To URL" command and use absolute URLs to the PDF, then append #page=[page number]
I've never used "Jump to Named Destination". How do I implement that to point to a destination page in a PDF that I cannot make changes to? The MadCap developers didn't get that one right until version 8, and I'm pretty sure they only got it right then because I rephrased the issue half a dozen times until they finally understood it. I'm not sure it's an issue any more, but if the web server does not support byte-serving, the link won't work.
