Hi group I found the cause of the problem: a logo in Illustrator EPS format, which seemed to be too complex for Distiller.
I just exported the logo to PNG and now Distiller is happily generating my CMYK PDF. So, no CMYK PDF bug in Frame and no font issues (fortunately). Cheers!
