Rick -

Apparently, I have remembered incorrectly.  What I remembered was this.  Say
that I use the Page Number field (on the status bar) to go to some page.  If I
then used the shortcut to return to the last page I viewed, the shortcut does
not work.  I thought it should.

You are correct.  If I _choose_a_link to a destination within_the_same_file and
want to return to the page on which the link is encoded, then the shortcut
works.

Thanks,

Hi Dave,

I am pretty sure that these shortcuts still work, but only for links within the
same document.

Subject: [Framers] Shortcuts to view previous and to check hypertext markers

Windows 7 Enterprise operating system with Service Pack 1, 64-bit
32 GB RAM
FrameMaker 2015 13.0.5.547 installed on workstation Files are "children" in a
.book on a server in our local area network

¿Do these shortcuts work for you, or am I missing something?

I recently found an old note about built-in shortcuts in FrameMaker. I believe
I extracted the content of the note from an old posting by Shlomo Perets. In
the archives, I can't find that posting. I want to use these, but they haven't
worked for some time.

The built-in command to go back is Esc v P (for "view previous"; three,
separate, case-sensitive, keystrokes (Esc v Shift+P)

When checking hypertext markers, the built-in command ins Esc v h (Esc v h).

Thanks,
