Hi Austin,

compatibility with high-dpi screens is one of the major changes in the 2017
release. FrameMaker fully supports high-dpi screens up to 4k (3840 x 2160).
This can also be found on our official product pages:
http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/features.html
Please also see our video about it:
https://video.tv.adobe.com/v/16936/
(Although it's "only" in Full HD, not 4k).

FrameMaker 2017 recognizes your screen resolution and Windows display scaling
and adopts automatically the UI scaling based on your Windows environment even
for multi-monitor environments with different resolutions / dpi ("Per-Monitor
DPI-aware" in Microsoft terminology).

Unfortunately this list does not allow embedding screenshots or attachments.
But I will be happy to send you a screenshot taken on a 4k monitor by e-mail if
you allow me to do so.

Also, would you mind telling me the name of the sales rep that you were talking
to? I would like to catch up with him/her.

Regards,
Stefan Gentz

So you will be very disappointed (and upset) if you upgrade to 2017 and expect
a larger font in the marker window.

When Adobe released FM2017, they claimed to have finally made it compatible
with high-density screens, but I noticed that their screen grabs did not
include any demonstration of this. Since I suspected that they were merely
lying again, I contacted a sales rep and promised that I would upgrade
*immediately* to FM2017, *paying whatever price*, if only they would provide
me with a screen grab that demonstrated that they were at long last telling the
truth -- that their newest release was indeed compatible with high-density
screens. When the sales rep was (predictably) nonresponsive, I presumed that
this meant that they were lying again. -- Now I see, from this thread, that
unfortunately this was an accurate assessment.

Please pardon me for anger at their disrespect of their customer base -- after
passing through every release of FrameMaker since long before Adobe acquired
it, I am 79 now, and my eyes have become my severe limiting condition.
