Yup .. that looks like the guy.
I don't think you can mess with that via FrameScript or ExtendScript.
I'm pretty sure it can only be done in an import/export client (if there
even) .. I don't know that you can do an import/export client via ES or FS.

Good call Scott. It looks like
<ConditionalText>
<OutputTextPI>
<OutputVisibleTextWithoutPIs />
</OutputTextPI>
</ConditionalText>
Here is a related question: Is it possible for me to change this setting on
the fly with ExtendScript or FrameScript? Thank you very much.

Output
Rick...
I forget the name, and can't check right now .. but in your structure
application definition is a node that controls how PIs are handled. They can
be "included" or "excluded" on read and/or write. I think the default FM
apps are to allow PIs to round-trip. If you switch this around, then reload
the app and reopen the file, you may see the PI content disappear.

Hi Framers,
I have some dita content in a FrameMaker 2017 document, where some of
the content is hidden with Filter by Attribute. When I save as .dita I
want to remove the filtered content from the .dita file. Right now,
the filtered content remains, surrounded by $Fm processing
instructions. Is there a way to remove the content altogether from the
.dita file? I understand that this is destructive, but that is what my
client wants. Thank you very much.
