I've looked at the MIF using MS Notepad and compared the start and end of the file to one that opens just fine in Frame. I can't see any differences, but I'm not exactly a MIF expert. The one really weird thing is that when Frame tries to open the file, a large screen of text is shown on the right-hand side of the screen (it looks like maybe it the MIF content) before the file opens with absolutely no visible content. I have a screenshot of that if anyone wants to answer me offline.
