Though the configuration itself was able to handle it all the time,
the dialog for configuring keyboard shorcuts never allowed to use the
ALT-key.
Now ALT as well als SHIFT-ALT, CTRL-ALT, SHIFT-CTRL-ALT modifiers can
be used in the dialog.
The dialog does not check if a shortcut can be used or if the system
already catches it. The easiest way to find out if the shortcut is
usable is to use it to navigate to the corresponding entry in the
listbox before trying to assign a command to it.
