HI, PIP & Others who are concerned on the “dots," Takahiko is answering not on your question "in the image near the tail" but of the dots(rather than “perforations”). It was a phenomena often used in Andy Warhol’s films.
I wonder that why he used it or rather doesn’t care about that. I assume he "doesn’t care about that”as a part of film’s materiality. For him that “dots” as a part of film like a nature for man. So he used it without any doubt.
