I am a French searcher and I work on the artist and experimental
filmmaker Maurice Lemaître (1926-2018). At the moment, I am appointed
by the Fonds de Dotation Bismuth-Lemaître-Guymer (beneficiaries of
Maurice Lemaître) to make an exhaustive inventory of his films. I have
been in contact with various French institutions and organizations (as
les Archives Françaises du Film, la Cinémathèque Française, le CJC,
Light Cone, Cinédoc) but I wonder if there could be other copies of
Lemaître's films around the world. I am mostly interested by the
copies in film (most of them are 16mm), not so much DVDs and tapes.
If anyone has information about that, public or private owners of
Lemaître's copies, please contact me, it would help a lot !
