Pip: Back in my grad school days in Madison (circa 1981), J. J. Murphy showed Nightspring-Daystar in class, and discussed some things about Brooks life and work. I don’t know if he’d be interested - that was a long time ago - but if not he might know of others who have taken an interest in Brooks.
Nightspring-Daystar is a wonderful film. Bringing new attention to Brooks is excellent news. > Re:Voir is preparing a DVD release of the films of David Brooks. > There is very little critical writing on his work.
