If you don't have access to a tech, first case is to put a little bit of light machine oil on anything that looks like a bushing... if there is a shaft rotating around through a hole in a plate then put a drop of oil on that plate. Don't remove plates, don't make any attempt to remove a spring assembly. You will likely find some sort of arrangement to oil the intermittent cam which is probably a felt pad held against the cam. Soak that in light machine oil, then wait an hour and soak it again. It should be thoroughly saturated with oil. Anything that looks like it had grease on it, scrape the grease off and replace it with new grease. Ask your local auto parts shop for white lithium grease and stay away from anything marked "high pressure" which will contain sulfur that will damage bronze and brass parts.
If you can find a manual for the camera it will likely make things easier. But manuals for old double-8 cameras are likely not common... --scott -- Frameworks mailing list [email protected] https://mail.film-gallery.org/mailman/listinfo/frameworks_film-gallery.org
