Hi John, (And Eric!) Yes indeed, I do have info on J.T., and I'd be happy to chat further. I never actually knew Jim, but I did know his brother Leo (also a filmmaker) in the last year of his life, and I still keep in touch with the Vale family. Jim and Leo are important people in Pittsburgh's independent and experimental filmmaking history, which is a particular area of interest of mine. What survives of Jim and Leo's work is currently in our fledgling Pittsburgh Sound + Image archive, though I know there are also a few things scattered in other collections. Anyway, always happy to talk about this stuff!
