GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Film and Media Studies Concentration invites applications for a one-year appointment in Film and Media Studies beginning in Fall 2024. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Film and Media Studies at Grinnell offers a 6-course concentration. We seek a scholar who can contribute to the core curriculum and create a special topics course in their area of expertise. The teaching load is five courses over two semesters. Research and teaching interests might include but are not limited to: film history and theory, film genres, documentary, and/or media of the Global South. Grinnell College is a highly selective undergraduate liberal arts college with a strong tradition of social responsibility.
