We are just looking at a couple of Xenon 2000N Eiki 16mm projectors at Mire Lab in Nantes and wondering if anyone knows what the function of the breaker switch onn the back is - when we flip it on or off, everything keeps functioning. When does it trip? If there is a surge in power, it would seem that the breaker would trip off, but it seems to run in both on and off positions (on two projectors). Our theory is that if set to ON, then if there is a surge it will trip off, but if set to OFF then it would continue to function through a surge. Any thoughts or confirmations appreciated.
