I've been working on a short essay loosely related to experimental film
practice "in the garden" in tandem with an herbarium series. In addition to
what's been mentioned, though not all strictly observational, I'd add:

Ja'Tovia Gary's *Giverny *pieces (2017-ongoing)
Ana Vaz's *Atomic Garden *(2018)
Colectivo Los Ingrávidos's *Chinampas /Floating Gardens *(2023)
Mikael Kristersson's *Ljusår / Light Year *(2008)
Phil Solomon's *The Secret Garden *(1988)
My *True-Life Adventure *trilogy

Clearly so many! And I'd be interested to talk off-channel, Zachary.
