1. Get a schematic and see what is between the battery and the meter. Odds are you have at least a battery check switch and a fuse.
2. Check the fuse, check the switch, using the continuity test function on a DMM. If you don't have a DMM buy the bottom of the line Fluke 101 for $50 instead of buying an expensive Chinese meter for $50. 3. Start at the beginning and work to the end. Put the negative DMM probe on the battery ground, and then start measuring the positive lead and working your way up the schematic. You'll want the camera open and the schematic open next to it. Measure at each point going up from the battery to the meter and see where the power stops appearing. 4. Are you still in Croatia?
