Hi Frameworksers, In response to the recent NYT list, I have put together a poll for Best Experimental Cinema of the 21st Century. I'm looking for artists, curators, teachers, etc. of experimental film, video, media, etc. to participate. If you'd like to submit a list of 15 titles, please email me at lightmatterfilmfestival @ gmail. Then I will send a Google form for submission. If you don't use Google, then you can email me the list and I will figure it out.
When I have publicly posted polls / submissions , they get inundated with not necessarily helpful replies, which is why I am not simply posting a link to the poll. I'm hoping to close submissions on August 1. Not sure of where this will be published. Individual lists likely won't be included for logistical reasons, but we may share (w permission) if possible. There is a question on the form about whether you're willing to have yours shared or not.
