Hi all~ I am an experimental essay filmmaker living in Gainesville, Florida, and I'm screening my 100-minute film cycle the *DELUSION TRILOGY* on *10/12 at 8pm* at the Sl8 Gallery on University Ave. The screening is free, in the microcinema in the back of the building, which holds about 25 seats so I suggest getting there early to be guaranteed one. The name of the trilogy has to do with a method of working I no longer employ, where I engender feelings of mania and psychosis in myself, in order to achieve a magical realist sort of state, apart from any lived experience or reality. The three films are HOW TO EXPLAIN YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS TO STANLEY KUBRICK, BELLOW OF THE CROCODILE and MURDERGAME. Individually, these films have all screened worldwide and are shown together in a rare event.
