Hello everyone,

Today we're kicking off the third edition of Film Fest Knox, a small fest
in Knoxville, Tennessee, that focuses primarily on American regional
cinema, which we consider anything made outside of the production machinery
in LA and NYC.

A couple screenings that might be of interest ...

Edited Documents: Films by Peter Bundy

I've curated a program of nine of the eighteen films Peter completed during
his years as a filmmaker. In the materials provided by his widow, Nancy, I
found this quote from Wendy Brabner in the first issue of Terry Cannon's
short-lived journal, *Spiral* (1984):

“Peter Bundy, of Minneapolis, is another filmmaker whose work is rooted in
structure, but his films are spare and lean and, in mood, suggestive of
e.e. cummings or Robert Creeley’s poetry. Stoked with color, nuance and
reverberation, they provide a long, steady, slow burn for the eyeballs.”

Spring Night Summer Night

I've probably seen Joseph L. Anderson's film a half-dozen times, and it
never fails to thrill me. We're a fest in Appalachia, and this is one of
the few Appalachian masterpieces.
