Hi folks, We have a xenon Eiki, EX-3500S model, and have been wanting to get an anamorphic lens for it. I guess I have two questions. One is whether this model requires the externally mounted bracket for the lens, and if so, if the standard bracket that goes on the SSL models will work. The other question is about the lens size designations that come up with the various Japanese lenses, like Kowa, Sankor, and Eiki. I have a sense that Eiki’s 16F size is perhaps the correct lens for this projector, but just can’t quite confirm that. And the Sankor 16C may be the same size under a different model number…?
I’ve tried for ages to get some reliable, definitive answer to this by just searching online, but the answer eludes me. Hopefully someone here can confirm or advise!
