Dear Frameworkers, Some of you may know my books on independent cinema, and on institutions that support it. I've been doing a new kind of essay (new for me, at least).
Do any of you know of a publisher that might be willing to consider publishing writings about cinema that include both written text and moving-image illustration? I am working toward a book, tentatively titled *In Transition, *which will contain a variety of kinds of writing: --an interview, in edited form, along with a link to the original Zoom conversation --at least one essay with multiple color illustrations, plus a link to one complete video and a website --several essays with text and substantial moving-image illustration If you have ideas for me, please contact me individually. *Scott* Scott MacDonald [email protected] PS The (tentative) title refers to recent changes in cinema and cinema experiment, especially the video essay *and* to the transition into old age in works by Robb Moss, Ross McElwee, Alfred Guzzetti, James Benning, Hyun Kim...and in the case of yours truly!
