I am an appraiser working on an appraisal report on a number of old films, from the late 1920s and early 30s.. Some of them are home movies, the others are private productions that had limited public showings.
I would like to contact anyone who has experience in buying or selling films of this type in order to establish their value. I am well aware of the market on Ebay but these films are of greater historical importance than those generally offered there and are probably more valuable. The purpose of my report is to establish a value for donation to a film archive. The material is not for sale and I have no financial interest.
