Hi all,
My DVX100B records sound at 48khz, 16bit. The sound is good but I've just
purchased a little zoom H1 which has a lot of different options for recording
sound and I'm wondering which setting is a good one to go for. I'll still be
using the camera mic as and when it's needed but the H1 will be tripod mounted
and left in the most advantageous position for sound. I'm not to hot on sound
rates but here are the wav options that are listed on the H1:
44/1644/2448/1648/2496/1696/24
Now my work will mostly get put out on DVD or the web so I'm guessing the 96ers
are overkill for that anyway? Is it just best to go for the 48/16 to match my
camera settings? Suggestions or some info on the above rates would be most
welcome. Sounds really not my area.
ThanksKevin
