Last weekend to see Oskar Fischinger: Space Light Art (otherwise billed as Raumlichtkunst) at the Whitney Museum, New York, through Sunday Oct 28. This is Center for Visual Music's three screen recreation of his 1920's cinema performances, with newly restored film transferred to HD. In Whitney's 2nd floor Astoria galleries, it's a continually looped exhibition.
It's been a great run at the Whitney since June, with excellent NY Times and artforum coverage, the latter for both NY and London shows.
