One cannot mention Kenneth without provoking a deluge of stories. I have my
own, forthcoming in my memoirs, but the best I've heard are from my friend
Kevin Thomas, former film critic at the Los Angeles Times. I interviewed
Kevin extensively over the last two years about his extraordinary career
(also for the memoirs), and his stories about Kenneth are a real trip --
life at Samson De Brier's Hollywood compound, and bizarre communication from
someone claiming to be the adult son of Anton La Vey (named Satan), who knew
intimate details about Kenneth's life that only someone close to him could
have known, but Satan was only 10 years old at the time. Talk about The
Astral Plane...
