Hi Gene, I'm a portrait artist (among many other things) and could render something from a photograph for you relatively quickly, in pencil or pen. Depending on the size and difficulty of the portrait I would charge around $80-$160, based on an hourly rate of $20/hr.
Here are some examples, these are drawn from photographs/amalgamations of photos and real life http://lyrahill.blogspot.com/2013/01/two-years-at-sea.html http://lyrahill.blogspot.com/2012/11/recent-days-wedding-page.html http://lyrahill.blogspot.com/2012/01/house-portrait.html http://lyrahill.blogspot.com/2013/06/possession-scenes-issues-1.html http://lyrahill.blogspot.com/2010/11/portrait-of-gentleman.html - Lyra On Mon, Oct 27, 2014 at 2:55 PM, Gene Youngblood <[email protected]> wrote: > Friends, > Can anyone recommend a portrait artist who works with pen, pencil, > charcoal or any other black and white medium?
