Subject: [Frameworks] 16mm equipment to sell
Corrections
I have three 16mm rewinds all in excellent working condition and cosmetically
good. One has a friction drag and that is $85. The others are for sale for $75
each firm.
The mag reader is 35mm and not 16mm as noted previously.
I can provide jpegs of all equip off list to those interested.

Greetings,
Hope all is well.
I asked to be added on the mailing list for weekly or monthly updates but if
possible to not have to receive the entire email thread for emails that might
be irrelevant for me given I receive so much emails on a daily basis, is it
possible?
Thanks

Subject: [Frameworks] Joe Gibbons in the News
Joe Gibbons, and award winning Boston-based film makers was arrested over the
weekend in connection with a bank robbery in New York City. Several New
organizations have picked up the story describing Gibbons as a "wacky
ex-professor", quoting him as saying that he was "doing research for a film ".I
understand he is being held pending bail. If you know Joe you might understand
how this might have happened. Doe anyone have news or details about his fate
and how we might support him?Ethan BerryANYEYE

Subject: [Frameworks] Experimental shorts with science-fiction themes?
Hello all,
I'm looking for recommendations for experimental film and animated works that
have science-fiction/visionary themes, both overt (like La Jetee or Tribulation
99) and subtle (maybe more along the lines of Christopher MacLaine's The End or
These Hammers Don't Hurt Us by Michael Robinson).
Thank you!Gina

Other Cinema in San Francisco is mounting a benefit for Joe, probably
on Sat. Feb. 21.
Monies will go to Joe's legal defense (and maybe his bail, tho we sort
of doubt that). We'll set up ways for people outside the Bay Area to
make donations. Of course, all that must be worked out in these next
weeks. At the benefit itself, there will be updates from the most
reliable sources, and a screening of some Gibbons masterpieces. More
info as the situation develops.

Rene LaLoux's Fantastic Planet and Derek Lamb's Psychic Parrot are two that
come to mind right off the bat.

Hey Gina!
This might be a stretch, but maybe take a look at Jim Finn's Interkosmos?
