One has two 16mm filmloops and automated color filters, the other one has 4 flickering slide projectors and a bunch of microscopic film grains. About that last one, I have a technical question: one kodak carousel S-AV 2030 projector just failed to work with the external dimmer. It worked perfectly for a month but now after the lamp dimmer circuit starts to work, the lamp doesn't go out completely anymore. You can still slightly see the flickering rhythm from the external dimer, but the lamp only dims for a very little bit. It must be the projector as the dimmer works fine with other projectors but this projector behaves the same when connected to other dimmers. maybe something wrong with the connector? Maybe short circuit in the projector? any kodak carousel specialists here? or anywhere else?
