This album contains sketches that I completed in October and November. I've got to catch up on my scanning so I can add my most recent work. My style continues to evolve, as I have been working more and more with pastels. I have not yet scanned a lot of my recent work, but you can see some of my pastel work in this batch. I like to quickly build layers of texture by rapidly rubbing the side of an unwrapped pastel against the paper -- a messy but very fun technique. You may have to zoom in on your computer monitor to see all of the textual details in these sketches. -- Emile Art is man's way of saying "I love you" to the universe.
