That's news to me. Perhaps MPE has been sold, though I don't think so. I used to buy supplies, including leader, and rent flat beds from MPE, in NYC, back in the 1980s and 90s. MPE contact at the time was "Neil." Kodak had its own outlet in NYC; most recently at 360 W. 21st Street (212.631.3400).
