I modified my pageant to use a 1/4" jack. I've had very good results merely plugging in a 1/4 to xlr unbalanced to balanced adapter and plugging the other end directly into my Canon xh a1 camera. From there I just set the audio gain on the camera to about 1/3 and adjust the volume knob on the pageant until it sounds good and the vu on the camera is just under clipping.
